Sadielyn had her class Christmas party on the last day of school, she really had a good time and was so happy that her daddy was able to come. Her teacher Mrs. Arrington is very sweet to her kids and bought them babies for the girls and balls for the boys.

Sadie had a Christmas party with her friends, my friend Tricia planned it all and it was just wonderful!! There were a lot of kids there and they all decided that it would be fun to scream at the same time. It got a little bit loud but the kids had a blast!!

Decorating cookies was a big hit with all the kids!! Sadie just loved being there and playing with all of her friends.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2008 was a good one. We had it over at Devin and Corinna's house and they cooked a wonderful turkey!! It is a time of year that we always take pictures for Christmas letters so here we are at Thanksgiving looking like Christmas.

This is Donovan's side of the family the only one missing is Jennifer, Donovan's sister, and her husband Rob.

Twilight the movie

Oh the movie.... what can I say, I loved it and all of the cast except for Jasper, he was a little bit to weird for me. Everyone should go out and see it, probablly read the book first, it is so good. Donovan and my friends went with me and they all liked it also. My friend and I were like little teenagers again getting all excited and at the end everyone applauded it was very funny. There were a few parts that just made me laugh, a little cheesey but they luckily stuck to the book for the most part, I just wanted them to keep going, I can wait for the next one!!!!!

Thankful Heart!!

During the month of November it gets me thinking about the things that I am most thankful for.
One of many are my sweet and sometimes goofy kids, they brighten my day and always give me something to hug and kiss and they are some one to be with. If I am feeling down I can just go up to any one of my girls and they will make me happier either with kisses or hugs as long as I need them.









The other thing that I am very greatful for is my loving husband who is a very thoughtful person and is willing to work while I stay home with our girls. He is always eager to be back together after work and always wants me to go with him to the store or anywhere that he needs to go. He is so vital to this family, without him I may just go insane, he comes in to help out whenever I have had enough. He loves his girls very much and would do anything for them. I don't know what life would be like without him. I am greatful for my parents and my inlaws they are the best grandparents that any child would want, they always want to be around their grankids and they are always willing to watch them. I wish I had some pictures of them to put on here but I do not. I have too many belssings to count!!

Sadie had her first preschool performance, it was so cute, all of her classmates and her sang a few songs about Thanksgiving and had one little saying that they all said in unison. It only lasted a total of 10 minutes but I loved every minute of it. Jane and Don, Donovan's parents, came to watch and of course Donovan, Savannah, Sheridon, and myself were there. They fed us afterwards and the food was very good!! I can't believe that Sadie is old enough to be putting on shows with a class. I just had her the other day, in my head at least. I am going to try to enjoy everything that I can about my girls from now on and not let things like them sleeping with me bother me so much because it goes by so fast that I need to remember that in a few years they are not going to want to sleep with mommy, and I will miss it!!

Twilight series

Twilight....
Okay so I finally read these books and just let me tell you I LOVE them!! I read the last book which had 754 pages in it in three days, I never thought I would do something like that, I just literally couldn't put it down. For those of you who have not read them they are a love story and the man just happens to be a vampire. I encourage everyone to read them and I can't wait for the movie to come out, I just hope it is not a disappointment and I hope they do not deviate from the story to much. I found that I am still thinking about the book 7hrs after I had read the last page. I have never read a book that was this addicting before, I may just go out and buy the books and read them again!!!!! Go and read them if you haven't.

Happy Late Halloween!!

My girls were so happy to be able to dress up again for Halloween!

My church had their trunk-o-treat on Wednesday befire halloween so we went and the girls had a blast!! Donovan was out of town but my friend walked around with Sadie for me while I handed out candy.

This week was red ribbon week at school so in light of that they had the kids do something each day, and Wednesday was wacky Wednesday.

Savannah being the kid that she is of course went all out, she wanted me to put her hair up in 4 pony tails but it took me forever to get her out of bed that we ran out of time. Sheridon on the other hand has never participated in anything like this before so for her to say that she wanted to tuck her pants into her funny socks was just amazing to me. Unfortunately Sheridon said they socks were to bulky in her shoes and wined until I said she could take them off.

They look cute any way, they are such enjoyable children when they are happy!!

Our club CAOS puts on an event every year in October called the Fall for All and on Saturday we get a band for everyone to dance to. Of course I am the one to enjoy it more than others.

This is my good friend Sandy. We worked at the front counter a lot, we got tickled with all the guys coming up and getting raffle tickets that we just laughed for a good 30 minutes, it was even funnier because the guys had no idea what we were laughing about.

Donovan and I even had more fun dancing, and notice the woman in the back ground cheering us on, she was really funny, at one point in the night she came up to us and said you two should get married!! We just started laughing and said we are married!!

It was just too much fun!!

Sadie's favorite past time is in the garage with her daddy, and this was something that she could help with. Donovan got what is called bead locks for his new tires for his jeep and he had to put 32 bolts in the things!! I helped for a while but after a hour of helping that was all I could stand but not Sadie she stayed out there as long as Dad let her!!


Daddy has a lot more patients with her and helping than I do!! I just want everything done quickly so I don't usually let her help much but he lets her do a lot, he may get tired of the "help" but he certainly is more patient then me!!

Savannah and Sheridon's school had a Fall Festival this past week and I am on the PTA board so I got a few of my friends from our club CAOS or Central Alabama Off road Society to bring a couple of their rigs so kids could sit in them and climb all over them. It was a big hit, especially with the boys. Sheridon's favorite part was the tires!! She wouldn't wear her costume to the fall festival but she is going to be Sarpay from High School Musical.

Sadie and Owen, this is the boy she is infatuated with, she says all the time that she is going to marry him. He is Harry Potter and Sadie is Gabriella from High School Musical.

A must read!!!

I have recently read a good book it is called The Highwayman of Tanglewood, written by Marcia Lynn McClure if any of you are into love stories this is a great one. It is a little hard to read at first due to the language that it it written in, it is the old way of speaking, and it is hard to understand at first but once you start it gets easier!!
It is a Robin Hood book of sorts there is a man who is masked and he rides around beating up men that are taxing their townfolk to much and relieving them of any money that they happen to have on them. The woman in the story meets him one night and they kiss and she is in love from then on. Then the son of the Lord of the house comes home and she is infatuated with him also!! She is the chambermaid in the house so she doesn't think she should be infatuated with the son. I don't want to ruin the story you should go read it if you are into this kind of thing, it is 283 pages and I read it in two days!!

I finally got some pitures of my 30th birthday party, I know 30!!!!! Yuck I can't believe how quickly it snuck up on me. I do not feel like I am 30 in my mind I am still 21 and young.

Looking back at the past 10yrs it has been very good. My girls are my life and I don't know where I would be without them, they keep me in line, and they help me want to be a better person. Donovan is the light of my life and I don't know where I would be without him. He is a wonderful husband and daddy!! I know it is going to be another great 30 yrs.

Fall crafts are such fun, the girls wanted to do some crafts for halloween and I love doing crafts so I said sure!! They had so much fun but they got a little bit sick of it near the end so I finished most of them up.

Water fun!!!

We finally got our own splash pad!!! I know it is the end of September but the city still has the water on in the splash pad, they only recently finished it so I think they are wanting people to come and use it and anticipate next years fun there.

It was funny watching the kids get their courage up and run through the water, and watch as it took their breath away slightly. They were in pure bliss for a full 30 minutes then it was back to... I am hungry, I am thirsty, and that was that.
