Okay so I took these pictures for two reasons, first Sadie got her hair cut by a professional and she just had a great time. She couldn't stop smiling the whole 5 minutes it took for the girl to cut it. The second is because she is into the dress that Savannah and Sheridon wore a long time ago and it just makes me sad, but happy at the same time! She is so grown up and so are the other two and I am getting older!!

While my dad was here for Christmas we painted Savannah's room because she wasn't a big fan of the pink, I think it turned out very cute!! Blue is her favorite color, and she already had the bed spread so I had to work with that color. The head board was only 6 bucks!!

Kids getting older.

I don't have any special picture to go with today's blog I was just thinking about the past weekend and how the kids are getting older.
Donovan and I went to the store the other day and Savannah and Sheridon stayed home, of course I locked all the doors, quizzed them on what to do if something should happen and to not answer the phone unless it was us calling. I just can't believe that they are already old enough to stay home for a few hours alone!! Time just flys by and it is really sad!!
Savannah is going to be 11yrs old and I feel like I just had her, and Sheridon is going to be 9yrs this year, almost into the double digits. Sadie is going to be starting Kindergarten in August and I really feel like she just was born!!
I know everyone feels this way all the time but it really hit me when the older two stayed home all by themselves and were totally fine. They even called to ask if they could have some left over sausage from breakfast!! I love them so much and want to remember everything about them.
Just hold your kids tight and try to remember, when they are going through the whole sleep with mommy thing, that it is not going to last as long as you think.

New Years Eve

My sister Karilee came down from North Carolina to visit for New Years Eve, it was really nice to see her again after so long. It has been about 18 months since I had seen her last, way to long!!!!!

We played Twister and watched movies until the New Year came.
Ellery is Karilee's youngets daughter she is a little sweetie and Savannah and Sheridon just loved playing with her, she is a very social thing so it was really easy to get to know her!

Ashley is Karilee's oldest daughter and she is a fire ball, she is so pretty and the first thing she said when they got to the house, directed to Sadie, was "Hi do you want to go play?" How cute is that?!

The whole holiday season was just wonderful and I hope to have a year just as great as the holidays were!!!

Sorry that these are so late, my camera was up at my mother-in-laws house for a week.

Christmas was great, I had my wonderful parents here to celebrate it with and the girls loved having their Grandma and Grandpa here also!! On Christmas Eve we always make cookies for Santa and the girls can open one gift, which is usually a new pair of pajamas. The girls love making cookies and Daddy is very patient with them.

I had Christmas dinner at my house and this was my table setting. I was pretty proud of it. The wall being red just adds to the whole Christmas theme!

Savannah and Sheridon got twister for Christmas and Grandma was nice enough to play it with them for many hours.
