Sheridon's Choir concert

Sheridon was in Choir this year, and they did a Christmas performance for the parents and school. She really seems to enjoy it.

It snowed in December!!!!!!!

Wow, snow in December!!! The girls were so excited, Sadie's smile got me out of bed on a Saturday at 7:00. Savannah was at a friends house so she is not in the pictures.

Sadie's dance class performed a little dance for all the parents at dance. It was cute, I thought I would share it.

Thanksgiving in Charlotte, NC

This year we went to Charlotte, NC to my sister Karilee's house for Thanksgiving. It is about a 6 and 1/2 hour drive from here, and the trip was pretty quick considering how long we are in the car for other family trips.

Karilee and Andrew were very good host and hostess I had a great time, and dinner was awesome!! Karilee made a great jello casserole and yummy turkey and ham. My mom and dad came also because Karilee had a baby 6 weeks ago and they hadn't been there to see him yet.






Karilee's kids are Ashely, Ellery, and Michael. They are all very cute children, and Sadie and Ashley played really well together!! I of course loved holding the baby and giving Karilee a break.
We went to the park, played a lot of games, and watched a few movies.

Russian Nutcracker

Sheridon was in the Russian Nutcracker Tues. the 17th, she was a boy at the party in the beginning. She knew her part very well, and we were very proud of her.
Sheridon said they all spoke Russian except for a few of the main dancers, Donovan did a Russian accent asking her if that was how they sounded and she started laughing and said yes. I am sure this is something she will never forget, and I feel it was a good experience for her to be part of a big production like this!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Yay, we love Halloween at our house, the girls had a lot of fun this year dressing up and getting their makeup on. Savannah was a pirate, Sheridon was a genie, and Sadie was a dead bride. We went to the church for trunk or treat and then to a friends neighborhood for some more trick or treating, but Sheridon and Savannah went to a party at a friend from church's house.

Pumpkin Patch

Sadielyn's Kindergarten class went to the pumpkin patch in Hayden and she really enjoyed herself. It was a little bit cold, but at least it wasn't raining. The kids were running around like wild, I am glad my child is one of the behaved children!

Cullman County Fair

The girls had a good time at the Cullman County Fair a few weekends ago. They were upset that the animals were not out to be seen, it had been raining and they rounded them all up and took them home. Savannah was very brave and wanted to ride the hang glider ride, she was smiling from ear to ear when she got off. Sheridon is a little bit more reserved and she wouldn't go on anything that Savannah wanted her to except the bumper cars. Sadie was a little bit scared also but she was able to still have a good time.

Miscellaneous fun

We have a lot of fun around here and I just wanted to share some of the pictures of that fun with you all.
Sheridon stuffed her pants and shirt to look like she had curves, she and the other two were laughing so hard at this.






Sadie loves helping Daddy out in the garage, she hears him out there and she runs to get shoes on, it doesn't matter what it is she wants to help him.



Savannah has figured out a way to do her hair up like this, she rolls it while her head is flipped over and it stays somehow.













In light of Halloween the girls did Sadie's make up, she is not going to be a clown but that is what they made her look like. Love the lipstick on the teeth.

Something to watch

Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Grandma and Grandpa Errett's house is always fun, the girls just love it. They live near a convent so they love to go up to the pond there and feed the ducks and fish with Grandpa.
Sadie and Maddie love to play in Grandma's little pool no matter how small water is fun!!

















I of course love to hold baby Katie and Sadie does also, she is just like me, loves babies!!

Savannah is getting really good at doing hair and she loves to do anyone's that is willing to let her.






Uncle Devin is so nice to play games with Savannah when ever she asks him to, what a great uncle.

School

Savannah is riding the bus this year and I think it is okay, I wish she would let me drive her, but she rides with the high school kids also, and she has been hearing a lot of swearing and I am sure not so nice talk on the bus. I don't know what to do, she says she just puts on her MP3 player and listens to it, she really wants to ride but I might make her just let me take her.
Savannah however is doing wonderful in school, she has the highest grade in math and science she actually received a coupon to Applebees for a free dinner for having the highest grade in her science class!! I am very proud of her for doing so well this first year in middle school!!
Sheridon is not doing as well as she usually does, her teacher says that 4th grade is a really hard grade, there is a lot of different things that they are introduced to and she is really struggling but she is happy and doesn't complain about going so I guess it is not bothering her to much. Her teacher this year is really good so I hope she will pull those grades up soon!!
Sadie is not doing very good, her teacher says that she can't just tell her to do something and walk away because she won't do it unless she is right there the whole time, and during story time she can't tell the teacher anything that she has just read even if the teacher has made it the most interesting thing. Sadie's teacher also said that she can't even concentrate to eat lunch, she has to keep reminding her to eat. I don't know what to do with Sadie, her teacher says it might just be immaturity or she may have ADHD like Savannah, so I am trying to decide what to do about it.
This year is going very different, but better than expected!!

I had my birthday.

Okay so I had my birthday, and I am not saying which one although I think everyone knows, and I have the best friends in the whole world. We were supposed to be working out on Friday morning and instead they threw me a party, total surprise to me, I feel so blessed to have such awesome friends!!
This birthday has been great all around, my in-laws got me a cake and some presents and I got two parties from friends, and Donovan and I got to go to a movie and dinner so that is always nice!!
I just want to thank everyone that made my birthday a great one!!!!!

One more year closer to double didgits!!

Sheridon is 9!!!!! I am not sure I was ready for this one, I still think of her as a 6yr old. Where does the time go? I love this little girl so much she is a great sister and helps me out a lot by keeping the peace and playing almost non-stop with Sadie. I am so blessed to have her in my life!!

Sheridon had a wonderful party, the high light was Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Aaron there for it. She played outside the whole time with her friends and cousins and my friend who is a paramedic came while she was working so she had the ambulance with her, that was a lot of fun for the kids I think. They stuck Sheridon's friend Megyn to the gurney and I don't think she could get up even if she wanted to. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, and lots of cake, it was a lot of fun!!!
