We had a good time swimming for the most of the day on the 4th, Savannah however didn't because she spent to much time in the sun the day before and got a nice sun burn.
We went to Jane and Don's and had dinner and did fireworks.
Sadie loves to help when it is time to hull the purple hull peas.
Sadie couldn't make it home, she passed out in the car.

What are purple hull peas? Are they good to eat? Do they taste like peas. Looks like fun! We didn't have fireworks it rained. But we did go to a birthday party that day.
Purple hull peas are really like black eyes peas, more like a bean, they are very good!! Easy to grow but they take over so if you plant them be careful. We had rain too but it stopped in time for fireworks!!
